Not just Railway paintings…
A very important ingredient to Marc’s success as a painter has been ventures to the outdoors to paint on location. Marc believes that painting from life and on location trains the eye and mind to become more intuitive which translates to better work in the studio. Painting outdoors began about 25 years ago when a friend introduced Marc to a book and video by the much acclaimed Marine Artist JOHN STOBART. Marc continues to paint “Plein Air” when the time and opportunities arise.
