Southern Pacific’s Daylight is about half-way home on it’s journey to San Francisco. This is passenger train number 99 and is being led by an ALCO built diesel electric locomotive. The train just made a stop in San Luis Obispo and is passing Serrano siding on the Santa Margarita grade.
The medium for this work is oil and the support is stretched cotton canvas.
The painting measures 24” X 18” and is framed.
