A trio of Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Alco PA's lead the Chief over Raton Pass.  The "PA" locomotives are sporting the eye catching "War bonnet" paint scheme. It is early Spring on Raton pass in New Mexico and the train is climbing the steep grade while passing Wooton ranch. The Chief will soon be cresting the summit and continue on its trek to California.
